Conference “Social-cultural role of archives and museums in conditions of Russia’s modernization” is held at the National Museum RB

The conference “Social-cultural role of archives and museums in conditions of Russia’s modernization” is held in Ufa, the National Museum RB. It is organized by the Archive Affairs Dept RB, the National Museum RB, the Bashkir division of the Russian Society of Historians-Archivists, the Bashkir State Academy of public service and management under the President RB, the Institute of historical and legal education RB under the Bashkir State Pedagogical University by Miftahetdin Akmullah and by the Ufa College of technology and design. Specialists of archives and museums, historians, specialists of local lore, post-graduates and students of higher and secondary education institutions are taking part in its work.

The role and essence of the museums and archives of the country on the present stage, including in consolidation of international accord in Russian society, problems and prospects of the state and municipal archives and museums RB and the use of modern IT in their activity and some other problems are under discussion at the conference.
