Bashkir search parties to take part in international exhibition “Memorial-2011”

The regional public Fund of search parties RB will take part in the international exhibition “Memorial-2011”, which is to be held in June 20-24, 2011, in Moscow. The exhibition is devoted to execution of the intergovernmental agreements concerning martial burial places and organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense and by the Fund for assistance to scientific investigations of the security problems “Science-XXI”. The conference, devoted to execution of the law “Perpetuation of the memory of the deceased for Fatherland”, will take place within the frames of the exhibition.

For the reference: The regional public Fund of search parties RB is founded on December 25, 2002. At present time the Fund consists of 17 search parties and this organization has held more than 40 search and search-investigating expeditions on the territories of Leningrad, Novgorod, Smolensk, Volgograd, Moscow, Kursk and Krasnodar regions and more than 500 pupils and students took part in these expeditions. Thanks to the Bashkir search parties the remains of more than 700 Soviet warriors have been discovered and buried with all military honors. The Fund is occupied with designing of the unique innovational technologies and methods for search for the missing soldiers and officers during the Second World and the Great Patriotic Wars: “Returning from Captivity” and “Lost Echelons”.
