Monument “Maternity” is opened in Sibay

Solemn opening of the sculptural composition has taken place in the town of Sibay, Bashkiria. The bronze sculptures of mother and her children are erected in the city park. The sulptors from Moscow, brothers Vadim and Stanislaw Kirillovs are the authors of the monument and local construction firms took part in the erection. This monument is called to become the symbol of unselfish mother’s love and one of the favorite places for the local citizens.

The Chairman of the Russian State Duma committee for civil, criminal, arbitrary and remedial legislation Paul Krasheninnikov, the deputy of the committee’s Chairman Andre Nazarov and the head of Sibay administration Faim Aidarbakov took part in the ceremony and as it was stated there maternity remained one of the eternal values on the Earth. Woman-mother grants life, remaining the main housekeeper and the source of home warmth and coziness.

There are 320 families with many kids in Sibay for today. 17 women were rewarded with the medals “Motherhood Glory”. For the last several years stable growth of birth rate is registered in the town: 1008 babies have been born in 2009 and 1044 – in 2010. 142 babies have already been born in January-February 2011, local administration reported.
