Authorities begin to put schools of Ufa on quarantine

Ufa authorities begin to put local schools on quarantine because of expansion of acute respiratory diseases, the Ufa Mayor Paul Kachkaev reported on Tuesday.

“Today we closed the first education institution – the school N46, where more than a half of the pupils fell sick” – he said.

At present time 11 thousand people, felling sick of the acute respiratory-virus diseases, are registered in Ufa and pupils make up nearly three third of this number. As the Mayor said, the schools mustn’t wait for the beginning of the epidemic and it is better to close them several days earlier and thus to avoid wide spreading of the disease.
