Police arrested 8,5kg of marihuana in Beloretsk

Bashkir policemen managed to stop a wide channel of drug delivery in the town of Beloretsk. Jointly with the colleagues from the Republican FSS the policemen arrested a consignment of marihuana, weighing more than 8,5 kg. A 37-year-old native of Dagestan transported marihuana from Kazakhstan according to the trial’s version. He was arrested in Beloretsk, attempting to sell 5kg of marihuana at six thousand dollars. Several years ago the suspected tried to be engaged in quite legal business in sphere of timber felling. But drugs seemed to be much more profitable. The cost of the arrested consignment might be about 25 million rubles. Now the suspected is taken into custody and in accordance with the law he faces the prospects of 20 years of imprisonment, the press-service of the Ministry of internal affairs in RB reports.
