Bashkir Medical University holds the 10th place in the rate of medical institutions of the country

In 2010 the Bashkir State Medical University has held the 10th place in the rate of medical institutions of the country. Besides, BGMU has become the seventh in the rate of entrance quality, the press-service of the University reports.

2010 turned out to be very successful for BGMU. The University was included into the official register “The National Quality Sign” and thus received the right to use the logo “National Quality Sign” and has become the laureate of the interregional contest “The best higher education institutions in Volga federal district-2010” with the right to use the abovementioned logo.

The main victory of 2010 is the news that the Bashkir State Medical University has become one of 26 Russian institutes, receiving the right to train volunteers for Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi in 2014.

The contest was held by the steering committee “Sochi-2014” jointly with the Russian Ministry of education and science and Russian Ministry of sport and tourism. More than 100 higher education and secondary education institutions participated in the competition. Only two institutes have become the winners in Volga federal district - BGMU and Kazan State Technical University by A.N. Tupolev.
