Bashkir Halal committee said OK to 34 enterprises

The Halal standard committee RB presented the certificates for the right to produce Halal foods to 34 enterprises in the Republic and beyond – in Belgorod, Samara, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, the head of the committee Timur Shangareev reported.

The Halal standard committee under the Clerical Muslim dept RB was established in June 2009 for development of the market of goods, allowable for Muslims. The committee certifies the enterprises of food industry, cosmetology, medical and ritual services, clothes, literature and

souvenirs.

The notion “Halal” (comes from Arab “al-halal” (allowable) means everything, permitted to Muslims thereby covering all spheres of human life. Halal means everything, what corresponds to the Islamic canons and doesn’t contain the components, prohibited by this religion, i.e. alcohol, pork, blood and dead flesh.
