More than 23 thousand servicemen, transferred to the reserve, will receive housing by 2012

All servicemen, transferred to the reserve and queued before January 1, 2005, in 83 Russian regions will receive either flats by the beginning of 2012 or money adjustments instead. The federal budget has already allocated 36 billion rubles for that, the deputy Minister of regional development RF Constantine Korolevsky reported at the press-conference in RIA “NOVOSTI”.
According to M-r Korolevsky realization of this program will start at the beginning of the next year and works on the construction sites will run already in April-May 2011. Two Russian ministries – the Ministry of economic development and the Ministry of regional development – will keep control over this process.
At present time 23373 servicemen stand in the housing queue, M-r Korolevsky said. And averagely about 300 families of the servicemen in every Russian region, transferred to the reserve, need housing, the online press-club of the Russian Ministry of Defense writes.
