New program on development of sanatorium-and-spa business will be launched in Bashkiria

A new Republican program on development of sanatorium-and-spa business will be inculcated in Bashkiria, the press-service of the Ministry of health protection RB reports, referring to the advisor of the health protection, social development and administrative formations interaction department of the Government’s Machinery RB Salavat Tuguzbaev.

“A new long-term goal-oriented program “Development of sanatorium-and-spa business in Bashkortostan in 2011-2020” is worked up by the Ministry of health protection RB and by the Bashkir State Medical University in accordance with the instructions of the President RB Rustem Khamitov. The new program will take all problems and drawbacks, which weren’t solved in the course of realization of the previous program, into account” – the press-service reports.

At present time nine state unitary enterprises – sanatoriums are found under the competence of the Republican Ministry of health protection for today.

According to the first deputy Minister of health protection RB Ralida Shakirova more than 120 thousand citizens of Bashkortostan and other Russian regions improve their health in the Republican sanatoriums every year. More than 40 thousand children have been made healthier at 21 children’s sanatorium in 2009.
