A representative of “Bashinform” is invited to OANA Assembly

The conference of the General Assembly of the Asian-Pacific News Agency Organization (OANA) will be held in Istanbul on November 25-27 and it will be devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Turkish news agency “Anadolu”. The gathering of the Turk News Agency Union (TKA) will take place within the frames of OANA conference. The chiefs of the news agencies, found in this Union - the “Anatolian Agency” (Turkey), AZERTADJ” (Azerbaijan), “KABAR” (Kyrgyzstan), TAK (Northern Cyprus), “Bashinform” (Bashkortostan), “Tatar-Inform” (Tatarstan) and “Crimean News” (Crimea) – will participate in it. The deputy editor-in-chief Alik Shakirov will take part in the conference from the news agency “Bashinform”.
The news agency “Anadolu” is considered the main and the biggest news agency in Turkey and in 2010 it celebrates its 90th anniversary. The news agency is widely known and very popular in the world.
The news agency “Anadolu” was established in 1920 upon the initiative of the Turkish Republic’s founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. At present time the agency has 14 regional offices and 30 bureaus all over Turkey. Besides, the agency has 20 foreign press points beyond Turkey.
