Vitally Viktorov: informatization should create the unified health protection system

Integration of all health care institutions into a single system of this branch with the maximally possible level of automation of all internal processes should become the main direction in Ufa administration’s policy in sphere of informatization, the chief of the city health protection dept Vitally Viktorov considers. According to him the base of such unified medical system is already formed in the city and the portal “Unified registration office” is considered one of its main components. This portal provides for the distant appointment with a doctor and this is the main software of Ufa administration, which helps to move all functions of the registration offices in Ufa at modern level.

The ambulance system also stands in this line.

“The satellite navigation system and integration with the city ambulance information system allowed us to supply the citizens of Ufa with the timely acute medical care at the same time saving the fuel costs for the sanitary transport” – he said.

In opinion of the head of the health protection dept such project as the electronic medical card also requires special attention. For today this is the actively developed application, already tested in several big Ufa clinics.

Besides, the implementation of automatic laboratory and functional diagnostic systems, automating and intensifying the process of reception and preparation of the results of the medical analyses, sending the results of the medical examinations directly to the information systems of the medical institutions, already launched in the city.
