Population of Ufa reached 1064000 people

According to the results of the all-Russian population census-2010 the population of Ufa reached 1064000 people, the head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev reported on Tuesday.

“For eight years the population of Ufa has increased by more than 4%” – the Ufa Mayor said – “In 2000 during the previous census 1022000 people inhabited Ufa”.
