The all-Russian population census was held in Bashkortostan at a high level

One of the most important stages of the all-Russian population census-2010 – collection of information about population and control measures – is over and now this unique data array has to be processed.

According to the preliminary data 4049,9 thousand people have been registered in Bashkortostan – 100,4% of the forecast indices: urban citizens made up 2441,1 thousand people, including 1064,2 thousand in Ufa (104%), and the number of registered rural citizens made up 1608,8 thousand people (97,9%).

The Bashkir State Statistics Committee will start receiving the questionnaires on November 8 and the data processing will be lasting from the middle of January and till May 2011. The first official information about population RB will be published in April 2011.

“The population census was held in our Republic at rather good organizational level thanks to the efforts of nearly 18th-thousand army of our copyists” – the Vice-Premier of the Government RB, the chairman of the commission for holding the all-Russian population census-2010 in Bashkortostan Ilshat Tajitdinov reported on November 1 at the meeting in the Government RB.
