Opera soloists from Moscow, Kazan and Bulgaria will sing in Ufa

The international project, united by the name of Giuseppe Verdi, starts at the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet on October 30. Within its frames three operas of the Italian composer with participation of the soloists from Moscow, Kazan and Bulgaria are planned to be played, the theater’s press-service reports.

Thus, the long-term friend of the theater and the favorite of Ufa’s public Nikolai Cherepanov (Moscow) will sing in the opera “Aida” on October 30.

The prima of the Kazan’s opera theater Albina Shagimuratova will play the role of Violet in “Traviata” on November 4. She is the national actress of Tatarstan and laureate of many prestigious international festivals. During two years she was working at the Houston Grand-Opera (the USA) and started her career at the Musical Theater by Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko in Moscow.

The soloist of the National Opera of Bulgaria Niko Isakov will play Rigoletto in the staging by the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet under the same name on November 16.

It has to be reminded that the XIII international opera art festival “Chaliapin’s evening parties in Ufa” with participation of the leading opera soloists from Russia, Byelorussia, Bulgaria and the United States will be held in Ufa in December.
