Rustem Khamitov: “We have to solve the problems of teachers by 2015”

The best pedagogues of Bashkortostan gathered in Ufa to celebrate their professional holiday today and the building of the Congress-Hall turned into an ordinary school on Tuesday, October 5. Here the teachers – the owners of the federal grants within the frames of the national project “Education” and the winners of the Republican contest for the teachers of Bashkir and Russian languages and literature gathered.

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Vice-Premier of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina, the Minister of education RB Zinnat Allayarov and other top officials came to congratulate the cream of the Republican pedagogical community.

“Our pedagogues are the real golden fund” – Rustem Khamitov said at the solemn ceremony – “Let me congratulate all of you with your professional holiday and I’d like to congratulate especially those teachers, who received the deserved awards today. These awards are the recognition of your labor and this is the main thing. These are the awards for your everyday intense work. The respected political activist Winston Churchill once said: “The school teachers own the power, which prime-minister can just dream of” and it is in no circumstances an exaggeration. You present moral basics and creative thinking to your pupils. Teachers form personalities so their responsibility is great”.

The head of the Republic added that our teachers might figure on purposeful social support in the nearest future.

“I understand that your wages aren’t high and about seven thousand teachers need housing in the Republic and that your work conditions leave much to be desired, but I promise that we will undertake everything possible to improve your situation. We have to solve all problems of teachers by 2015”.
