The first poetic internet-conference has taken place in Ufa

The first Republican literary internet-conference, devoted to love poems, has taken place in the Central Library ofUfa. The action was initiated by the Ufa’s literary association “UFLI”.

The love poems of 16 authors from Ufa, Neftekamsk and Salavat were offered for discussion and at that not only those, who were sitting in the library’s hall, but all those who wished to join the discussion, might do it with the help of internet and even the colleagues from Tallinn managed to communicate with the Ufa’s poets through “Skype”.

The theme, offered for discussion, is as old as the mankind itself and it seems what new one can tell about love? Nonetheless, all poets, beginning from Homer, found the necessary words, describing this eternal sense, and everyone managed to find something its own. The modern poets of the Republic also presented their original views concerning love.

In conclusion all participants have expressed hope this poetic internet-conference, being the first, won’t be the last one and such conferences will become traditional.
