The Ufa’s monument to Lenin is discovered in Saint-Petersburg

The concrete sculpture of Vladimir Lenin, manufactured by the order of the Ufa executive committee, is discovered in Saint-Petersburg on the territory of the studio “The Ice Planet”, a source in Ufa administration reported to “Bashinform”.

This sculpture had to replace the figure of the first Chairman of the People’s Commissars Soviet in the architectural ensemble, located at the intersection of the Lenin’s and the Communist streets in Ufa. The order had been executed in Leningrad in 1987 but never was delivered for Ufa since it wasn’t paid for. Now a part of this sculptural composition, consisting of the monument, crowned with the globe, and the nearby territory, enclosed with the chains, is located in the Lenin’s square of the capital RB.

The monument was installed in 1924 in the year of death of the world proletariat leader, on the means, collected by the workers of Ufa, and was considered one of the first Lenin’s monuments in the country.
