“Blue Cameo” has visited Germany

Not long ago the troupe of the State Academic Russian Dramatic Theater RB has visited Germany: the theater presented the historical musical “Blue Cameo” to the German audience there and rather successfully.

“The success of “Blue Cameo” in Germany was stunning” – the art director of the theater Michael Rabinovitch told – “Usually I don’t say so but it was really stunning”.

According to the preliminary determined program the theater has played two performances on the stage of the historical Royal Theater in the town of Bad Wieldbad, Baden-Wurttemberg.

As Michael Rabinovitc said, such significant international project became a reality only thanks to great desire of both parties.

“From our side the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Ministry of culture RB and the committee RB for UNESCO affairs sponsored us and from the German side we felt great support of the Baden-Wurttemberg Prime-Minister M-r Stephan Mashgus. It is quite clear since this action is called to contribute to development of the international dialogue and further consolidation of the relations between our Republic and Baden-Wurttemberg. During the official reception the Burgomaster of the town Bad Wieldbad said they were happy to receive the amazing Russian theater, erasing the distinctions of misunderstanding and mistrust between our nations, on the stage of the Royal Theater. And from this point of view the essence of art can hardly be overestimated” – Michael Rabinovitch said.
