Elena Kuzmina from Sterlitamac presents Bashkiria at the final stage of the all-Russian contest “Teacher of the Year”

The project of the teacher of junior classes fr om Sterlitamac Elena Kuzmina was highly appreciated by the jury of the Republican contest “Teacher of the Year”. The pedagogue will present the results of her innovational policy at the final stage of the contest.

76 best representatives of the teacher’s community from all over Russia will gather on Thursday, September 23, in Magnitogorsk. Traditionally the majority of them are women – 60 teachers and only 16 pedagogues are men.

In 2010 practically all contest’s arrangements represent open lessons and meetings with pupils and their parents and the final stage will be held at the local school N5, wh ere the absolute winner of the last contest Natalie Nikiforova works.

One of the contest’s novelties is that the jury will estimate the own internet resources of the participants and any visitor of the site www.teacher.org.ru may vote for the best site of a participant within the period between September 1 and 30. All actions of the final stage will be available in online mode in internet.

The winner of the “Big Crystal Pelican” will be traditionally announced at the solemn meeting of the pedagogical community of the country on October 5 in the International Teacher’s Day.
