Arrears of wages in Bashkiria make up 83 million rubles

According to information of the Bashkir State Statistics Committee the arrears of wages in the region made up 83 million rubles on September 1, 2010. Since January 1 the arrears increased 4,7 times. These figures were ventilated in the course of the meeting of the interdepartmental coordination council re acquittance of the arrears of wages, held by the Vice-Premier Fidus Yamaltdinov. According to him the amount of the arrears increased in eight regions in the Volga federal district, including Bashkortostan. “As a result our Republic is found on the ninth place” – he specified – “The highest amount of arrears is in Nizhniy Novgorod region – 186 million rubles and the lowest – in Ulyanovsk region – 4 million”.

The lion’s share of the arrears fall on agriculture and timber felling – 51,3% or 42,4 million rubles. 36,9 million rubles of arrears of wages fall on the processing productions, 3,1 million rubles – on construction and 0,4 million – on the organizations, engaged in production and distribution of electric energy, gas and water.
