Youth Theater has taken part in the festival “Golden Turnip”

The National Youth Theater RB by Mustai Karim has taken part in the IX international festival “Golden Turnip”, which had recently come to the end in Samara. The Bashkir Youth Theater presented the play “The Golden Cloud” by the story of Anatoly Pristavkin. The performance has taken place on September 11 in the local theater “Samara Art”.

By the totals of the festival all its participants received the traditional statuettes – the symbol of the “Golden Turnip”. There was no jury at the festival except the group of experts and theatrical critics, discussing the day’s plays every evening.

For five days of the festival the Samara spectators watched 16 stagings of the theaters from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Ufa and Samara. The troupes from France, Kirov and Barnaul have taken part in the festival for the first time.
