The investment possibilities of Bashkiria were demonstrated to Vladimir Putin

Before the beginning of the plenary session the participants of the interregional conference of “United Russia” divisions became acquainted with the investment projects, introduced by the Russian regions in Nizhniy Novgorod.

The Chairman of the Government of Russia Vladimir Putin was the honorable guest of the exposition.

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov acquainted him with the projects, demonstrated on the Bashkir stand.

There are three such projects in Bashkiria: the project of an innovational institute for invalids, development of transport infrastructure in Ufa and creation of modern production on the base of the enterprise “TUIMAZYSTEKLO”.

The head of the federal Government has listened to the story of Rustem Khamitov about the first object with high interest. The essence of the project is the higher education for the people with the restricted physical abilities and their social adaptation in the modern world. The problem of education for invalids is important both for Bashkiria as well as for the whole country. At present time the invalids make up 9% of the population both in our Republic and in the Volga zone and this project represents the chance to attract the newest innovational technologies in the sphere of distant, module and inclusive education in order to solve this problem. It is expected the university center for invalids will be located in the old part of Ufa, mainly on the base of the Ufa State Academy of economics and service. It is quite clear that people with the restricted physical abilities can’t work either in a machine-building workshop or stand near the blackboard, so the center is going to train the specialists for designer’s, marketing and consulting companies. This activity is quite in the strength of the invalids, who possess high intellectual and creative potential but at the same time can’t study with other students.

For realization of this project it is necessary to attract federal investments too because the problem, the university center is established to solve, has the all-state character and citizens from other Russian regions may study here too. The means of the Republican budget and of the representatives of a big business, interested in solution of the social problems in the region, will be used in parallel with the federal investments.

The Chairman of the State Duma RF Boris Gryzlov, the deputy Chairman of the Government RF Sergey Ivanov and the Minister of economic development RF Elvira Nabiullina also became acquainted with the investment projects of Bashkortostan, introduced at the exhibition in Nizhniy Novgorod.
