Population of Ufa is growing

Population size in Ufa is growing again. About 8.5 thousand babies have been born in Ufa since the beginning of the year, and the natural increase came to over one thousand people. This was reported today at the daily briefing in Ufa Administration by its head Paul Kachakev.

According to Paul Kachkaev, positive tendencies can also be observed in other spheres of social and economic development of the city. The unemployment level has 12% lowered as compared to the same period of the last year; the average salary has passed 21 thousand roubles. Since the start of the year, two hundred and ninety four thousand square meters of housing have been put into use, and the share of unprofitable enterprises comes to 14.7%. This is one of the best results in Russia.
