Happy holiday of Uraza-Bayram!

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov congratulated all Muslims of the Republic with the holiday of Uraza-Bayram:

“Dear Muslims of Bashkortostan!

Let me congratulate all of you with the ending of the Holy Month of Ramadan and with the holiday of Uraza-Bayram!

This holiday demonstrates the centuries-old Islamic traditions and its high moral ideals. Uraza-Bayram embodies the main commandments of the holy fast – spiritual purification, peaceableness and mercy, accomplishment of good deeds. These values are equally close and understandable to people of all religions and historically serve as the base of peace and harmony.

In these days people cook traditional dishes, wear festive attires, invite relatives and friends, make presents and render assistance and it is important that our youth would also take an active part in good deeds, following these principles in their everyday life.

Let Uraza-Bayram reward you with the peace of mind, self-reliance, new energy and inspiration for creation.

I wish warmth and gladness, agreement and kindness, peace and prosperity enter every house!
