A new mosque starts working in Ishimbaysky region of Bashkortostan

Solemn opening of a new mosque has taken place today in the village Sairanovo, Ishimbaysky region of Bashkortostan. The native of the village, a deputy of the Russian State Duma Irshat Fakhritdinov made such present to the villages on the day of Uraza-Bayram celebration. He was born in the family with many kids and his mother was deeply religious person. The construction of the mosque was funded by the deputy personally.
“We’ve erected this mosque jointly with my brothers” - Irshat Fakhritdinov tells – “the erection started just in May 2010. My mother always wanted the mosque to be erected here and this construction has become our civil duty before her”.
The new mosque has become the 23rd in Ishimbaysky region RB. Its area is 72 square meters with the spacious praying hall, divided into two sections: for men and women. The village didn’t possess any religious construction since 1937. Before that two mosques had worked here and since then there was no any permanent praying place for the villagers. They gathered for praying either beyond the village or in somebody’s cottage. The mother of Irshat Fakhritdinov was one of the initiators of those religious arrangements. The new mosque is named after her.
