Ufa is again on top place in demography

Ufa has again proved to be among top ten cities with the population over one million people (excluding Moscow and St. Petersburg), where the demographic situation is positive. This was reported today at the daily briefing in Ufa Administration by its head Paul Kachkaev. Natural population growth is observed in the capital for the third year in a row. No other Russian million-plus city can boast such stability.

Ufa has also taken a high position in the nominal wage rate. The higher rate is only in Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.

"However, Nizhniy Novgorod is already close at our heels by this characteristic," Paul Kachkaev pointed out. "That's why we must seek to raise the living standard of our people."

Ufa has also demonstrated good result in the volume of domestic services rendered to the population. The city takes the second place after Kazan.

At the same time, Ufa takes only fifth position out of ten in construction volume. This fact indicates that the city must pull up this sphere in order to be among the leaders.
