The contest among human rights activists starts on September 1

The Moscow Helsinki Group announced the contest for the prizes in the sphere of human rights protection in 2010.

Any citizens of Russia, foreign citizens and people without citizenship, having permanent residence on the territory of Russia, making weighty contribution to protection of human rights in our country and reaching substantial results in this activity in 2010, may be nominated for the award. The organizations and the citizens, engaged in the human rights activity, have the right for the award competition.

The documents for taking part in the competition are accepted from the 1st of September to the 15th of October, 2010, to the post address 107045, Moscow, Bolshoi Golovinsky Lane, 22, or by the e-mail: mhg-main@onlineptt.ru.

The totals of the competition will be summed up by the International Human Rights Day (December 10, 2010).
