The Week of Russian Cinema starts at the cinema-theater “Rodina”

The Week of Russian Cinema starts on August 23 at the Ufa’s cinema-theater “Rodina” and a new documentary film, produced by the film studio “Bashkortostan”, “Arslan Mubaryakov” opens the demonstration of Russian movies. The new film of Alexei Popogrebsky “How I’ve spent this summer” will be also demonstrated the same day.

The news-secretary of the film studio “Bashkortostan” Denis Saitov reports, the film-studio intends to introduce several new works this autumn. Thus, the film “The Wind Catcher” of the producer Aisak Umagulov will become the most expected new production in this season. The popular Russian artist Marat Basharov plays one of the key roles. The film was in the production during several years. On October 7 it will be widely demonstrated at last. The new film will be also shown at the international Muslim filmfest “Golden Minbar”. In 2010 this filmfest will represent two independent festivals: first in Kazan on September 15-19 and further in Makhachkala in October.

The film studio “Bashkortostan” prepared several works for participation in both festivals. Along with “The Wind Catcher” the list includes the documentary films “Arslan Mubaryakov”, produced by Radik Kilmamatov, “The war never considered us children” (produced by Vilura Isyandavletova), the feature film “My Star” by Tansulpan Burakaeva and the animation films “The Lullaby” (produced by Elena Ushkova) and “The Side Where the Wind Blows” (the author is Rim Sharafutdinov).
