Students of Al-Azkhar do practical work in Bashkortostan

The students of our Republic, studying at the International Islamic University “Al-Azkhar” (Egypt) arrived in the motherland for doing their practical summer work. According to the instructions of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB they are sent to seven Bashkir regions to help the local imams.

At present time about 50 students from Bashkortostan study in Egypt, including several girls. Unfortunately, because of the financial problems not all of them have a chance to go home in summertime and some of the students spend several years abroad, not leaving Egypt.

One more important mission is imposed on our students, studying at “Al-Azkhar” – the presentation of Bashkortostan abroad. Thus, the students have held several exhibitions, devoted to culture and history of our region this spring and this mission in many respects contributed to the rise of the image both of our Republic and the country in the Arab world.

The representatives of the Clerical Muslim Dept RB and prominent activists of culture from our Republic regularly visit the students, studying at “Al-Azkhar”. Thus, the deputy chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept on education, external and public relations Ruslan Sayakhov, the Vice-President of the Charitable Fund by Kinza Arslanov Salavat Ulbarisov, the chairman of the Union of Photo Painters RB Ramil Kilmamatov and several public activists RB have called on the students from Bashkortostan in spring 2010.
