The plan of Ufa: 10 schools for ten years

It is necessary to erect ten schools in Ufa for the nearest ten years, the Ufa Mayor Paul Kachkaev reported today.

Such rates of construction allow avoiding the repletion of already existing schools in the city and the necessity to teach the pupils in three shifts. The rates are calculated, taking the natality, registered in the city for the last years, into account. Now the number of kids in Ufa grows up approximately by one thousand per year and this is the number one school is able to accept.

In a whole the expenses for education in Ufa make up about 2,7 billion rubles every year and this sum is close to the one third of the city budget and about 250 million rubles of this sum fall on the non-efficient expenses, which should be reduced to a minimum.
