The mosque “Safar”, located on the territory of Ufa airport, is 10 years old

The mosque “Safar”, located on the territory of Ufa’s airport, celebrates its 10th anniversary. First it received the place in the small building, reequipped for a religious institution. In 2007 after reconstruction of the airport’s terminal of local airlines, the mosque removed to the right wing of the airport building, where the praying room was opened.

Murat-hazrat works here all these years. Earlier he worked in the airport as a technician. In 2005 he finished the madrasah “Galya” and received the religious cloth of imam-hatib.

In opinion of many passengers the praying room in the airport’s building represents a good convenience. The believers may pray here before the trip and receive the instructions of Murat-hazrat. By the way the word “Safar” means “long trip” or “travel” in translation from Turk language.
