The Bashkir films at the Kazan International Festival of Muslim Films

The film studio "Bashkortostan" will take part in the VI Kazan international festival of Muslim films (it was earlier called «Gold Minbar»). Last works of the film studio were sent there. Among them is «My star» — Tansulpan Burakaeva’s film in the Bashkir language, speaking about youth problems. Radik Kilmamatov’ film «Actor from the people» is devoted to the legendary actor Arslan Mubaryakov. At last, «The Hunter of the Wind» by Aysuak Yumagulov was sent to the festival, the work under which had been carried out for six years. Marat Basharov, the Russian movie star acted in this film in the lead. There was no a premiere in the republic yet, it was planned for the autumn.

— All these works are very serious, and we expect a respective estimation of jury, — the director of the film studio "Bashkortostan" Aibulat Yunusov said.

The Bashkir cinematographers should go through a serious competition. As the organising committee of the festival informs, applications were received from 50 countries of the world: Russia, India, the USA, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, France, the Netherlands, Burkina Faso, Gambia.

The festival will take place in Kazan from September 15 till September 19.
