Bashkortostan is in the top ten regions by the number of prizewinners of the All-Russian schoolchildren's competition

Bashkortostan is in the top ten regions by the number of winners and awardees of the All-Russian schoolchildren's competition 2010. This was reported to Bashinform by Natalie Kot, the deputy head of general education department of the RB Ministry of Education.

"Four winners and 28 awardees of the final round of the competition enabled Bashkortostan to take the ninth place in the top list of Russian regions," Natalie Kot said. "We share it with Novosibirsk region. Our children also demonstrated high performance efficiency. 75% of 85 schoolchildren representing Bashkortostan at the All-Russian competition justified the results they showed at the regional round."

This year our team on law (one winner and six awardees) and the team on ecology (two winners and three awardees) scored big successes. The eleventh former of Ufa gymnasium N39 brought to the Republic the certificate of the English competition's winner for the first time.

Besides, two schoolchildren from our region were included into the national team.
