Health care professionals of the republic were honoured in Ufa

The Day of Health Care Professionals is marked annually on the third Sunday of June. This year its celebrating will be spent for the thirtieth time. Celebration of health care professionals of our republic has taken place in Ufa. Almost 500 people took part in the solemn ceremony, which was held in the City Palace of Culture: doctors, nurses, hospital attendants, medical assistants, veterans of medical work. Traditionally on the eve of their professional holiday Murtaza Rakhimov, the President of Bashkortostan Republic, Konstantin Tolkachev, the Chairman of the State Assembly-Kurultay RB, Fidus Jamaltdinov, the Deputy Prime minister of Government RB – the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Andrey Evsjukov, the Minister of Health RB, heads of other bodies and departments congratulated health care professionals.

Murtaza Rakhimov also marked that only last year the volume of the consolidated expenses for public health services made about 25 billion roubles. For the last five years it has grown more than twice. Such monetary investments allow to build and reconstruct annually up to 40-50 objects of public health services, to purchase the necessary modern equipment.

Within the limits of realisation of the Republican Housing Programme for the last five years 748 apartments were granted to medical workers, from them 515 – to young families. 282 land plots for construction of habitation were allocated. Annually the best workers of public health services are put forward for the higher state awards and decorations.

On the eve of the professional holiday Murtaza Rakhimov personally presented certificates of honour RB, appointment certificates «Honoured Doctor of RB», «Honoured Health Care Professional of RB» and badges of honor to 18 people.
