Svetlana Arginbaeva has taken part in the Days of Opera in Turkey

The TURKSOY International Opera Days are over in Turkey and the soloist of the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet RB Svetlana Arginbaeva participated in these Days together with other opera singers from nine countries.

Traditionally the TURKSOY Opera Days started on the stage of the theater of opera and ballet in the town of Mersin and went on in the town of Girne, the Northern Cyprus. The arias from the classical operas, sung by the soloists from the opera theaters from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Khakassia, Bashkortostan and other Turk countries and republics, were introduced to the spectators.

“Mersin has become the center of opera art in Turk countries and in the future the TURKSOY International Opera Days will be presented not just in the Turkish towns but in Europe too” – the TURKSOY General Secretary Dusen Kaseinov stated.
