Officials will be penalized for keeping silence

The alterations concerning administrative violations in the Russian Code come into effect since July 1, 2010. The essence of the novelties is that all officials have to answer all questions and addresses of citizens quickly and correctly. The officials will be penalized for their reluctance to provide for the information, being of vital importance for the Russian population.
This document is necessary for introduction of the administrative liability for violations of rights of citizens and organizations for information about activity of state bodies and municipalities. The penalties will make up to 30 minimal wages. One more important detail: the bill includes all listed violations both into the list of the cases, tried by judges, and into the list of the proceedings, instituted by the public prosecutor.
