May 31 is the World Day without tobacco

The World Health Organization declared May 31 the World Day without tobacco in 1988. The aim was set before the world community – to solve the problem of smoking in the XXI century. The XXI century has entered but the problem hasn’t disappeared and the struggle with nicotine is going on. According to information of the World Health Organization about 300 thousand people in Russia die early because of different reasons, concerned with smoking – more than because of traffic accidents, drugs or AIDS.
