The Day of Russia’s christening has become an official memorable date

The State Duma RF approved the bill concerning introduction of a new memorable date in Russia in the second reading – the Day of Russia’s christening. It will be celebrated on July 28 and corresponding alterations are introduced to the article 11 of the law “The Days of military glory and memorable dates of Russia”.

The bill was worked up in accordance with the instructions of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin, RBK reports.
