Istanbul is waiting for Bashkir sabantuy

The preparations for the Days of science and culture RB and for the 5th Bashkir sabantuy in the city of Istanbul are close to the end, the representative RB in Turkey Kanshaubi Miziev reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

Thus, the cooperation agreement between the Bashkir State University and the University of Istanbul is planned to be signed on May 21. The international conference “History and culture of European nations: the past, the present and the future”, devoted to the 120th anniversary of Achmet-Zaki Validi will take place the same day.

The performance of the Bashkir Academic Dramatic Theater by Majit Gafuri “Achmet-Zaki Validi” will take place at the theater “RESHAD NURI SAKHNASE” same evening.

The Bashkir national festival sabantuy will take place on May 22 in the very center of ancient Istanbul – in the Mechmet Akif Ersoy Park near the Holy Sophia Church and the Blue Mosque. For the first time the sabantuy was held in Istanbul in 2006. On May 22 the sabantuy will be held here for the fifth time and citizens of Istanbul are already waiting for it with impatience.
