Erection of a new mosque started in Ufa

Construction of a new mosque started in Demsky district of Ufa. The project is designed by the architectural company”VAKAR” which designed many city mosques in its time.

As the specialists say, the new mosque will represent a multi-sided two-storied building. The beautiful minaret in the form of a half-opened bud will be located in the center. The interior apartments will include the praying hall for men with 106 seats and a separate hall for women with 55 seats. The scheduled object commission is 2012. The Muslim Religious Community of Ufa Demsky district is the customer of the project and the main funds are collected thanks to voluntary donations of Ufa citizens.

It is quite probably the mosque won’t be the only cult constriction in Demsky district. Erection of the Christian church by Andrew the Apostle is planned here too but the terms of this project aren’t yet determined.
