The VIII city contest of vocalists by Theodore Shalyapin to take place in Ufa
The VIII open city contest “Debut” by Theodore Shalyapin will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan on the 22nd-24th of April and the contest is devoted to the Republic Year, Ufa administration reported.
The listening of the competitors will be traditionally held in one of the best concert halls of the city - in the Shalyapin’s concert hall at the Ufa State Academy of Arts by Zagir Ismagilov. It is known the Great Russian bas started his career at the end of the 19th century here.
The exposure of vocally talented kids, popularization of the great classical heritage and modern music are the main goals of the contest, organized by Ufa administration and the local division of the Interregional Shalyapin Center.
