Municipal services in Ufa are turned into e-format

19 municipal services in Ufa will become electronic. A part of the project is already achieved: there is one electronic registration office and all appeals of citizens are received online. The online fair of job vacancies and the system of booking for the free places in kindergartens are the next in turn.

As the deputy head of Ufa administration Alexei Oshepkov told at today’s news-conference in Ufa, all services will be available on one site – www.ufacity.info. The portal will also contain the bookmarks to the electronic services, offered by other offices. The site of Ufa administration will open the access to the portal of Russian Federation’s public services, to the archive of the Arbitrary Court RB, to the tax service etc.

Specialists in Ufa administration register high interest of Ufa citizens in e-services. Thus, in 2009 947 citizens have written 1390 claims to the Ufa authorities through the official site of Ufa administration. About 500 people subscribe through e-registration office to the doctors daily.

At the same time as it has been stated at the present stage the electronic interaction between Ufa administration and the population can’t be called complete: there are some obstacles, including the imperfection of the law about electronic digital signature. The law about personal data also arouses many questions. In opinion of Ufa administration’s specialists it is most likely called to protect the interests of the companies, working in the market of informational security and not the privacy right of citizens.
