Alcoholism of tram drivers is prevented in Ufa

The Administration of October district of Ufa organized a preventive event among the workers of Ufa Electric Transport Management MUP.

According to the information and analytical department of the Administration, more than 100 workers listened to the lection about the harm of alcohol. Moreover, representatives of the medical sobering-up centre under the Ufa Department of Internal Affairs were invited for participation in the discussion. In conclusion, the workers of the enterprise watched the film about the harm alcohol drinks do for the human organism.

There was a good reason for such event to be organized. The purposeful war against alcohol abuse was started long ago. Both Administration of the district and many organizations created committees on hard drinking prevention and preventive councils of labour collectives, which organize prophylactic work among the workers.

Organization of discussions, lections and trainings with demonstration of slides and movies is one of the most efficient methods of alcohol abuse prevention. The Administration of the district holds lections among students of educational institutions and employees of city enterprises and organizations. Thus, 14 such lections have been organized in housing and utilities administrations and large manufacturing outfits since the beginning of the year. In the future, such events are going to be held every three months.
