Teacher of the Year in Bashkortostan 2010 Contest has started

The 20th anniversary contest of teaching art titled "Teacher of the Year in Bashkortostan 2010" has started in the Trade Unions' House in Ufa. Nine days of different competitive events, exchange of experience and interesting entertainment program are in store for 127 teachers representing almost all the regions and cities of the republic.

Two more pedagogical competitions - The Teacher of Tatar and Tatar Literature and the Teacher of Russian and Russian Literature - will be held within the annual professional review.

The participants of the present contest are of different background, age, teaching speciality, but they are united by their desire to become better, to upgrade their skills and to keep up with the times.

Over nine days contenders for the title of the best in the occupation will demonstrate the jury and the colleagues their pedagogical credo, represent their work experience and give lessons to unfamiliar classes.

The presentation of an innovative pedagogical project, contest of team trademarks, demonstration lessons and their self-examination, extracurricular hours are activities of the first round.

15 semi-finalists in each activity will reach the second tour. They will show master classes, make a speech and participate in the debate.

The closing ceremony and awarding of the winners will take place on April 13 in the Majit Gafuri Bashkir State Academic Drama Theatre.

The supreme winner will represent Bashkortostan at the All-Russia Teacher of the Year 2011 Contest.
