Rafis Idrisov is called the best dancer at the festival in Kabardino-Balkaria

The young dancer fr om Bashkortostan Rafis Idrisov has won the Grand-Prix of the international ethnic art festival “ALTYN MAIDAN” in Kabardino-Balkaria. The dancers from Ukraine, Khakassia, Kyrgyzstan, Dagestan, Estonia and Kazakhstan were the competitors of the young Bashkir dancer. In Bashkortostan Rafis Idrisov is well-known as the winner of the first children’s Bashkir dance contest “BAIK-2009” for the prizes of the President RB. Besides, he is the soloist of the dance ensemble “AKYONDOZ” at the Bashkir Republican Gymnasium N1 by Rami Garipov, wh ere he studies in the ninth grade.

The festival “ALTYN MAIDAN” was held on March 22-28 near the foot of Elbrus and included the competitions on vocal, folklore and dance art. More than 300 representatives of all nooks of Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries were its participants.
