Bashkortostan in foreign press

A current number of the Ankara with one page entirely devoted to cultural relations between Bashkortostan, Turkey and the TURKSOI International Organization came out in Turkey. The author of the article, the famous scientist Eflyatun Neimatze gave a detailed account of the meeting of the TURKSOI Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov and the President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov. According to Dusen Kaseinov, this meeting was extremely useful and fruitful for the development of cultural relations between the TURKSOI and Bashkortostan. The article also pays great attention to the Year of Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan pronounced by the TURKSOI for the member counties of this organization.

The first time the TURKSOI International Organization announced its intention to declare the year of 2010 the Year of Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan was on the Memorial Day of Professor Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan held in Istanbul University on December 21, 2009. This event also received wide mass media coverage, particularly on TRT Turk TV Channel and in the Europe, the most large-circulation Turkish-language newspaper of England.

Some of these days, the 30th number of the Turksoi Magazine containing the article about the Year of Akhmet-Zaki Validi Togan has also come out.
