Solemn arrangements, devoted to the Teacher Year, have taken place in the town of Kumertau, Bashkortostan. Solemn opening of the municipal 120-seat kindergarten “AZAMAT after major repair has become the first event. The building of the kindergarten is brought to conformity with all modern requirements for the pre-school institutions. The local budget allocated 3 million 199 thousand rubles for repair works, acquisition of special furniture and installation of a fire alarm system.

After that solemn opening of the Teacher Year has taken place in the Children’s Art Center with the participation of local administration Sergey Afonin, chairman of Kumertau council Oleg Astahov, school teachers, employees of the pre-school institutions, pedagogues and heads of the town’s enterprises.

The system of education in Kumertau consists of 51 educational institutions, where 10490 children and teenagers study and more than 2 thousand pedagogues work. The educational institutions of the town realize the strategy and the program of innovational development. For the years of realization of the top priority national project “Education” 6 schools have become the winners of the contest among the educational institutions, introducing innovational education programs. Within the project “Education” 17 teachers of the town have won the presidential awards at the rate of 100 thousand rubles each. 336 town school-leavers of 413 have entered various higher education institutions last year (81%).
