Young scientists of Bashkortostan will be rewarded with grants

Solemn ceremony of presentation of the grants for young scientists RB will take place in Government RB on February 19 for the fourth time.

The grants were established in 2007 for support and encouragement of scientific activity on the most prior directions in fundamental and applied researches in Bashkortostan.

30 grants are distributed every year: 15 grants to young scientists and youth scientific teams of scientific institutions and organizations and other 15 grants – to young scientists at higher education institutions.

In 2009 the rate of the grant was increased from 50 to 60 thousand rubles. The grants are allocated in the form of purposeful gratuitous subsides and meant for scientific investigations, preparation and publication of scientific works and for participation in the Republican, all-Russian and international conferences. Besides, the grants can be spent for working on probation in Russian and foreign scientific centers and in expeditions.
