“BASHNEFT” has become a sponsor of the UEFA Cup winner

The President of the JSC “BASHNEFT” Viktor Khoroshavtsev and the President of the professional football club “CSKA” Eugene Ginner have signed the agreement, in accordance with which the company “BASHNEFT” becomes the general sponsor of the club, the official site of the company reports.

“BASHNEFT has long-term traditions in sphere of social sphere support, including professional sport. Every year the enterprises of the company sponsor the key sport projects in Bashkiria” – the President of JSC “BASHNEFT” Viktor Khoroshavtsev stated – “Cooperation with the football club “CSKA” is a new level of social responsibility for us. The Army’s club is the pride of Russian football and supporting the club we thus support the Russian sport, contributing to the country’s prestige on the international arena. We highly appreciate the talent of CSKA and believe in success of our football players and their future victories”.

The President of CSKA Eugene Ginner said in his turn:

“We are happy that the best representatives of Russian business strive for the support of Russian football and I am sure that signing the sponsorship contract with so powerful and successful company as “BASHNEFT” we will be able to consolidate our positions both in Russian and European football and to achieve even higher heights”.

It should be mentioned the army club possesses the first serious achievement of Russian football – the UEFA Cup 2004-2005.

The first game CSKA is going to play with the support of JSC “BASHNEFT” will become the home match on February 24 in Moscow against Spanish “Seville” (the 1/8 of the Champions League final in 2009-2010).
