Semi-finals of the contest “Teacher of the year in the capital RB-2010” started in Ufa

The teacher of Russian language and literature Vladimir Raevsky, the teacher of mathematics and geometry Elena Frolova, the teacher of biology Igor Mokropolov, the teacher of mathematics and information sciences Larisa Katkova, the teacher of junior classes Elena Ganeeva, the teacher of English language Gulnara Tukhvatullina, the teachers of junior classes Tatiana Pavlova and Alia Sakaeva, the teacher of physics Gulnara Ravilova and the teacher of Russian language and literature Alla Pavlova are ten semi-finalists, who continue struggling for the honorable title “The teacher of the year in the capital RB-2010”.

The second stage of the contest of the pedagogical mastery started on February 2, Tuesday. The stage consists of three sub-stages. First the competitors have conducted the master-lessons at the lyceum “Commonwealth” and analyzed them. On Thursday, February 4, the teachers will read public lectures and the jury will estimate their reports. After that the first five of the finalists will be chosen. They’ll become the laureates of the contests and will take part at the final stage, called “The Debates”. This task includes the discussions to the pre-determined topics and its participants have to answer the questions of the jury. The debates will be also held at the lyceum “Commonwealth” on February 5.

Solemn awarding ceremony will take place on February 15 at the Ufa’s Culture Palace.
